Dr. F. Donald Clark, BSc, MD 1986

Dr. Clark practices General Surgery with special interest in laparoscopy, endoscopy and oncologic surgery especially including breast, bowel and melanoma.

He first joined surgical staff at Brandon General Hospital in Brandon, Manitoba from 1993-1996.  Subsequently, he and his wife, Nancy, discovered the allure of the Annapolis Valley prompting their relocation to Nova Scotia in 1996. 

Dr. Clark has been on the Surgical Staff at Valley Regional Hospital since 1996, serving as Head of the Department of Surgery from 1998-2000. He is both a fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and The American College of Surgeons.  He has also maintained his certification with The American Board of Surgery.

His outside interests include cycling and guitar, and especially the two "apples" of his eye, daughters Gabrielle and Emma.

Dr. Paula Gallant

Dr. Gallant practices General Surgery with a special interest in Breast Surgery at the Valley Regional Hospital.  She has done post graduate training in breast surgery, including sentinal lymph node biopsy and chemotherapy.

Other interests include sports medicine as it pertains to equestrain sports.  She is a member of the American Medical Equestrian Association.
