Department of Surgery
The Department of Surgery consists of 21 members with active and associate privileges. The Divisions of Urology, Orthopaedics and Vascular Surgery are regional programs providing satellite services to the South Shore District Health Authority and South West Nova District Health Authority.
The Division Of Ophthalmology perform cataract extractions at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton and to service patients in more rural areas, weekly satellite clinics are held at the Annapolis Community Health Centre.
