Laboratory Services
The Laboratory Service for Annapolis Valley Health is delivered from three (3) laboratories and two (2) blood collection sites. We provide a comprehensive service including testing and consultation in Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Cytology and Surgical and Autopsy Pathology.

The Laboratory Service for the Annapolis Health Authority is provided by:
- 52 Laboratory Technologists (full and part time)
- 8 Lab Assistants (full and part time)
- 7 Clerical (full and part time)
- 2 Pathologists (Dr. R. Jung and Dr. B. Jollymore)
- 1 Laboratory Manager
The test menu consists of 100 most common tests done in house; the remainder and more esoteric tests are referred to outside Laboratories.
