Driving While Impaired (DWI) Program

DWI programs are delivered in partnership with the Registry of Motor Vehicles in the Annapolis Valley.

Driving While Impaired (DWI) programs are provided for all people suspended for and/or convicted of, impaired driving offenses. In partnership with The Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV), Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations, drivers requesting license reinstatement must complete this program. All clients complete an assessment and a two-day education program including a personal meeting with an addictions professional. Where indicated, clients are further offered treatment to deal with any alcohol or drug problems.

To find out when and where the next scheduled DWI program will be, please call (902) 679-2392 or (902) 825-6828.
