Work schedule  Monday -Thursday (Friday optional) In patient hospital coverage for am rounds ( usually 1-3 inpatients) Very supportive staff who know the patients well.
Eligible for guaranteed minimum daily fee/travel expenses.
Licensure from the College Physicians of Nova Scotia required.

Emergency Preparedness Medical Advisor (.2 FTE - approx 8 hours/week)

The Nova Scotia Health Authority has outlined a vision for people-centered health care that will enable the system to think and act as one. A critical step in enabling this vision of a provincial approach to health services was the consolidation of the nine existing district health authorities into one Nova Scotia Health Authority, with the IWK Health Centre remaining as a separate authority.

Family Physician: Fall River

Seeking locum coverage for an upcoming maternity leave from November 5, 2018 - December 31, 2018 at Fall River Family Practice. I am one of 11 physicians who provide collaborative care to our community of Fall River located just 25 minutes outside of Halifax. Our team currently practices with one family practice nurse and anticipates a second joining by the fall.  The clinic provides same day duty coverage on a rotating schedule. There is no call or out of office work required. We do have shared office space however there is some flexibility for hours.
